The short version
Everything you record in Dozara — doses, weight, protein, side effects, workouts — is stored in a database on your own device. It is never uploaded to us. We do not have an account system, so there is no profile of you on our servers to leak, sell or hand over.
What stays on your device
- Your profile: height, sex, birth year, goal weight, units and language.
- Medication plans, dose logs, injection sites and vials.
- Weight, waist, body composition and photos.
- Protein entries, side effects, appetite scores and workout sessions.
None of this is transmitted. It is removed when you delete the app or use Delete my data in settings.
What reaches our server
The app fetches reference data — compounds, foods and workout templates — so that new entries do not need an app update. That request sends only a sync cursor (when you last synced), your interface language and the app version. It carries nothing personal and no health data.
If you use the optional AI coach, the app sends the profile details you chose to include with that request in order to generate a plan. It is used to produce your response and is not stored by us afterwards.
Apple Health and Health Connect
Access is read-only and requested only when you tap Import — never at startup. Dozara reads weight and step count. It does not write to your health record, and imported values never overwrite a weight you entered by hand.
Subscriptions
Subscriptions are handled by Apple or Google through RevenueCat. We receive the status of your subscription — active or not — and never your payment details.
Children
Dozara is not intended for anyone under 18.
Your rights
Because your data is on your device, you exercise these directly: Export produces a copy of everything recorded, and Delete removes exactly what export carries. Both are free and neither requires a subscription.
